Project Description
With support from the California Arts Council, Alternative Field will implement Accoutrements, A Public
Literary Project consisting of 8 bilingual chapbooks, curated as accompaniments to workshops, discussions, visual art exhibits, and interdisciplinary events in collaboration with partners throughout Northeast LA.
Organization Summary
Alternative Field welcomes dialogue, discourse, co-operative thinking in ways that may instigate internal but constructive criticism, and we do this through curated workshops, discussions, interdisciplinary events, and ethically mindful artistic collaborations and partnerships.
We publish poetry anthologies that invite our communities to use their known and/or unknown poetic sensibilities to share this discourse and to archive it for future generations.
