We are a small nonprofit theatre in Los Angeles, focusing on premiering new plays by Los Angeles-based playwrights. We generally produce 2 or 3 mainstage productions per year, oftentimes in non-traditional spaces, such as our critical and audience hit, The Car Plays. We also produce 2 reading series every year, including our flagship MADLab series, in which playwrights are mentored as they develop their concepts into plays over the course of 9 months. Our readings are presented to the public free of charge.

In 2025, we added a new program, Moving Arts Presents. This is a curated slate of programming, bringing artists we love, to perform works that will generate discussion with our community.
