Abstraction is the language of shape, gesture, texture, and emotion. If your work leans into the unspoken and the in-between, this challenge is your invitation to go bold. Selected artworks are gathered into a curated collection with your name, artwork title, and website link, giving you a polished, shareable feature you can keep using long after results day.

Results emailed: March 12, 2026 

Awards + recognition

Best in Show: $150 cash award, artist interview, Moir mini spotlight feature, homepage feature, plus a free Blue Sky Artist Award entry

Runner Ups (Traditional & Photography): website feature, dedicated social media post, Art Journal mini spotlight, plus a free Blue Sky entry 

Finalists (Top 15–20): permanent listing, digital certificate, social highlights

All Selected Artists: listed on the curated collection page with name, artwork title, and link

Entry fee

Your 1st image is FREE if you enter by December 20, 2025, which makes this an easy, low-pressure way to get your work in front of curators and be part of a global collection. After the free-entry window, pricing is tiered by the number of images you include in the same application: 2 images is $18, 3 images is $25, 4 images is $36, 5 images is $45, and 6 to 10 images is $55. 

Eligibility

Open worldwide to artists 18+. 2D and 3D works welcome, including painting, sculpture, mixed media, photography, and digital. You must own the rights to the work you submit. 

How to enter + image specs

Submit your free entry first, then add additional works within the same application. Upload JPG/PNG files (noted as under 3MB, with max 2MB listed, and minimum 2000 px on the longest side). 

Judging criteria

Craftsmanship, presentation, interpretation of the theme, composition, creativity, and technical skill.
