Graphic Design Paid Summer Internship

About the Internship

The Graphic Design intern works within the marketing and communications department to assist with visual concepting and production across digital and print platforms, collaborating on materials that align with the Center’s branding and creative vision and support a wide variety of campaigns.

This is an in-person internship that runs from June 15 – August 7, 2026, with a required orientation on June 8, 2026.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work within creative services/graphics (a subgroup of the marketing and communications department) directly mentored by one of the Center’s in-house graphic designers.
  • Assist with creating a variety of marketing materials and bringing a vision to life. This could include anything from print materials, postcards, flyers, and posters to digital email campaigns, house program design/layout, and other projects as needed.

 

Qualifications

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be enrolling in college, currently enrolled in college or a recent graduate
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud required (primarily InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator)
  • Applicants must submit a portfolio of design work showcasing their skills
  • Engaging personality and eagerness/willingness to work closely with others
  • Creative thinker with good problem-solving skills
  • Strong organization skills
  • Familiar with working on a Mac OS
  • Familiar with other programs a plus: MS Office suite, Slack

 

Schedule (IN PERSON)

June 15 – August 7, 2026
30 hours per week; flexible on specific hours

Compensation

$16.90 per hour
