In-Person Gallery Show

The online JOTFORM application will be available starting September 10.
DESCRIPTION
Fiber Art is a fine art approach of creating objects, with an emphasis on materiality, and the fine manual labor involved using natural and/or synthetic fibers. Textiles, fabrics, and found objects are often included. The choice of materials, the manual labor, and personal expression define this art form.
We are looking for wall-hanging or sculptural works that are created with knotting, twining, plaiting, sewing, embroidery, felting, paper making, knitting, crocheting or weaving. Explore the possibilities. They are endless.

MEDIA
Fiber, including 3D/Sculptural works
Open to all artists aged 16 and over.
Submission limit: 3 works per artist.
Works previously displayed in the O’Hanlon Gallery are not eligible.
ART PREPARATION
All work must be ready for display. Paint, glue, etc. must be dry!
Max size for wall pieces: 48” wide | 60” high
Wall hung pieces must be securely wired or have easy to install hardware provided
Label all work with Artist’s name & Contact
Bring or attache resume and/or artist statement to the application if desired. (2 pages max.)
ENTRY PROCESS
Please hand-deliver (no digital submissions) up to three pieces of work to:

NEW! We are moving from handwritten applications to a digital submission process using JotForm. (The online JOTFORM application will be available starting September 10.) Please note that all artwork must still be hand-delivered to the gallery for jurying.
We strongly encourage all artists to complete their submission application form online before bringing in their artwork.
You may pay online by credit card, or indicate that you’ll pay by check, cash, or Venmo at drop-off.
If you’re unable to complete the form in advance, we’ll be available to assist you when you arrive.
The art tags will be printed by the office and handed to you to attach to the work when you arrive to drop off work.
ENTRY FEE
$40, or $30 for Artist level OHCA members.
If you pay by credit card a small service fee will be added.
DATES
Dates for in-person entry submission:
Friday, Sept. 26, 11 am to 4 pm
Saturday, Sept. 27, 10 am to 1 pm
Date when artists will be notified of jury results:
By Wednesday, Oct. 1 at 5 pm, results will be sent to the email provided on the JotForm application.
Pick up times for non-selected work:
Thursday, Oct. 2 from 10:30 am to 1 pm
Saturday, Oct. 3 from 10:30 am to Noon
Saturday, Oct. 11 from 5:00- 6:00pm, after Art Talk
End-of Exhibit Artwork Pick-Up
Friday, Nov. 14 from 11 am to 4 pm
Saturday, Nov. 15 from 10 am to 1 pm

Contemporary, exploratory, and/or experimental entries encouraged.
Please note Entry Dates/Times carefully. Late delivery of artwork is not allowed.
