Call for Artist Researchers
The 7th Street Museum is seeking Artist Researchers to work alongside our team on the projects building this museum: oral history, neighborhood research, and artist and community outreach.

Length: 4 months, starting summer 2026
Time: Approximately 5 hours/week (~80 hours total), flexibly scheduled
Stipend: $2,500
Location: Hybrid – some work required in West Oakland, some remote

Priority consideration will be given to applicants with an explicit connection to West Oakland: as a current or former resident, through family, or through sustained community work in the neighborhood.
