The City of Napa is excited to launch its 2026 Summer Internship Program! This is a great opportunity for students and recent graduates to gain meaningful, real-world experience in local government!

The Public Art Intern will support Napa’s Public Art Program, contributing to a variety of permanent and temporary art initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with research and curatorial tasks for public art projects
• Support documentation, reporting, and promotional materials
• Participate in community engagement activities and stakeholder meetings
• Assist with installation and deinstallation of art projects

Learning Outcomes:

• Understanding of municipal public art programs
• Exposure to curatorial, administrative, and project management work
• Experience in public art planning and implementation
