The City of Laguna Beach is issuing this Request for Proposals to select a qualified consultant/development team with the knowledge, technical capability, and experience working with local governments to assess the opportunity and capacity for the development of a Public Art Ordinance and Policy. The consultant will work with the City of Laguna Beach Arts Commission and Cultural Arts Department in guiding the development of an ordinance governing decision making policies in public art to include acquisition, donation, funding, deaccession, maintenance and review.

Proposals should include information demonstrating experience in public arts planning and community outreach as well as the information requested in this RFP. The goals of the Public Art Ordinance and Policy are to assist the City in evolving its approach to public art, develop guidance, identify resources to support the public art program and educate the public about the role public art plays in the community.
