Submit your original poetry, political cartoons, short comic strip, short fiction, or Art-related guest article for print in 1UV MONTHLY Magazine. It is free to submit your original work. Publication is at the prerogative of 1UV. If your submission is accepted you will be notified.

1UV MONTHLY is also seeking regularly contributing columnists  for  recurring Art and/or local Culture Columns.

​Duties include:

– generating and editing original non-AI Slow-Art-related content relevant to 1UV MONTHLY’s readership

​This is a part time remote contract position, with the exception of a one time face to face on-site Gallery meeting.

​Compensation is: the freedom of your own voice free of editorial manipulation, a headshot with bio, plus other compensation to be negotiated upon agreement to contribute.

​Candidate must:

– be a minimum of 21 years of age

– speak, read and write fluent English

– be able to work legally in the United States

– demonstrate journalistic writing proficiency

– demonstrate ability to meet deadlines

– demonstrate and understanding and practice of Slow Art

– be committed to maintaining scheduled appointments

– have your own reliable transportation
