COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR is a full-time, on-site role, based in San Francisco. The Communications Director will develop and execute an integrated communications strategy that advances the gallery’s artists, exhibitions, and reputation; coordinates communications across press, website, social media, publications, programing, and events; lead media relations; oversee website updates; and relaunch and oversee gallery’s digital magazine.
This role is also part of the team that develops and implements the gallery’s ambitious cross-disciplinary programs.
The Communications Director will be a front-facing, senior position who will be a key representative of the gallery at openings, galas, civic events and art fairs. National and international travel, attendance at evening events, and presence at the gallery on Saturdays is required.
