With support from the California Arts Council, the Larry Spring Museum will build our capacity to continue to produce sustainable programming that is accessible and meaningful to the communities we serve. Funding will allow us to pay the salary of a part-time contact-based program coordinator. Adding a program coordinator will allow us time to focus on developing a strategic plan and continue to nurture the relationships we are building within our various communities. In addition, funding will also help to offset some of our rent and rising utility costs.
We sustain Larry Spring’s collection as a unique piece of Fort Bragg’s history.
We foster Larry Spring’s quirky spirit of enquiry through exhibitions, meaningful community engagement and educational opportunities.
We support the work of emerging, mid career and self-taught artists, makers and other curious beings by providing a platform for them to develop their practice.
We facilitate the creation of analogue and intuitive modes of knowledge production through workshops and events.
