Project Description
With support from the California Arts Council, THEATRE WEST INC will produce and implement a series of public performances, professional workshops, and in-school theatre education programs in Los Angeles.
Organization Summary
Theatre West advances its mission by serving its professional members:
1. Ongoing acting, writing, Shakespeare, and musical theatre workshops for critique.
2. Public performances of original work developed within the workshops.
3. Storybook Theatre, a professional Equity season of interactive, non-threatening musicals for children between 3 and 9 years old.
4. In-school arts education programs within Los Angeles public schools and aligned with the VAPA standards.
