Project Description

With support from the California Arts Council, Oceanside Public Library agrees to reporting requirements (including Interim and Final Reports), agrees to send a representative contingent to any CAC-convenings, and will work to grow the emerging Oceanside CA Cultural District in an equitable and accessible manner using new staff support, branding work and programming resources made possible by the CAC. .

Organization Summary

Oceanside Public Library provides access to the community to technology, and encourages literacy through a wonderful print and electronic collection as well as a literacy program.It provides programming for all ages from literacy-based to art and music programs. The Library also oversees the City’s Arts Commission, which is an advisory body to the Oceanside City Council, and promotes artistic and cultural endeavors in our community.
