With support from the California Arts Council, UCSB Arts & Lectures will engage approximately 5,000 students each year across Santa Barbara County through four large-scale bus-in performances by world-class artists (no cost to the schools). Select classrooms will visit the UCSB campus to cultivate interest in higher education.
At the forefront of Scholarship in the Humanities and Fine Arts: From the English Broadside Ballad Archive to the Center for the Study of Work, Labor and Democracy, UC Santa Barbara is home to 24 dedicated research centers and academic initiatives, as well as four performance programs in theater and dance and 25 musical groups, ensembles and choirs.
