Project Description
With support from the California Arts Council, Arte Del Corazón will provide a series of 3 day workshops where students from local Alt Ed high schools learn about and attend arts exhibitions guided by local Watsonville artists/mentors. Each site will attend 4 total exhibitions throughout the 2 year experience.
Organization Summary
Arte Del Corazón’s core programs are; Local Creative Professional development/ mentorship (workshops, one on one support, and Artist for Hire creative job referils), Youth Development and Mentorship program (youth artist collectives, internships, arts exposure and professional development) and Community Arts Engagement (Art events, classes and gatherings). The services we provide are artist development workshops, one on one artist support meetings, creative event collaboration/support for organizations and businesses, and online promotion for artists.
