Project Description
With support from the California Arts Council, Music Changing Lives, Music Changing Lives will offer at-risk students a 21-week music and art after school program, called the Changing Lives Showcase, (CLS). The program focuses on increasing graduation rates for K-12 students while creating powerful music and art experiences.
Organization Summary
The purpose of MCL is to engage musically and artistically talented individuals to stay in school and focus on their education for their future. By providing key programs including music, art, film, tutoring, mentoring and financial literacy as incentives, Music Changing Lives hopes to continue to change students’ negative perception of school.
