Project Description
With support from the California Arts Council, API CULTURAL CENTER INC will support the “Lunar New Year x Black History Month Celebration” (working title), a project under OACC’s Open E.A.R.S. for Change (E.A.R.S.) program series that centers art, culture, and humanities in highlighting social justice issues, mainly systemic/structural racism.
Organization Summary
Before the pandemic, we welcomed 25,000+ guests each year to our center through affordable or no-cost, unique, and easily accessible multi-ethnic and multidisciplinary art and cultural programs. Programs include:
(1) Artist in Residence; (2) Classes/Workshops/Seminars; (3) Exhibitions; (4) Festivals; (5) Performances and Other Special Events; (6) School Tours & Community Outreach
