Project Description
With support from the California Arts Council, Nebula Dance Lab will dedicate these resources toward HHII Festival 2022, & Fall 2022 Student Matinee Program offering K-12 students an opportunity to experience professional dance in a historic Santa Barbara theater as a free school matinee program. Priority Title 1, and underserved students.
Organization Summary
SUMMARY:
Professional Company; Creating and performing works by emerging and commissioned artists. Locally, Nationally, and Abroad. 24+ new original works created, including 3 evening length adaptations.
Kids Matinee Program: A free school field trip program for students to see a professional dance performance in a historic Santa Barbara theater. K-12. Current capacity 2400 students.
HHII Dance Festival: Offering an opportunity for emerging and established artists to showcase dance works. Open to artists in all dance styles, worldwide. Additional performance opportunity for youth companies during the opening evening.
Apogee Awards: Honors artists dedicated to Dance Education. Annually.
