Resounding Achord Productions (RAP) is a service organization with a singing habit. Our associated choirs, Resounding Achord (RA) and Pariter Vocal Ensemble (PVE), provide innovative, high-quality choral music performance opportunities for our talented singers and entertaining performances for our audiences. Most importantly, RAP serves other musicians with a specified focus on students, schools, and other community-serving organizations. This emphasis and effort of service includes:

— Providing scholarships for talented middle and high school students with financial need to attend Regional and State Honor Choirs. In the last 10 years, we have provided over $55K in scholarships

— Participating in joint concerts with other community, university, and youth choirs, including benefit concerts that serve the community at large

— Producing programs, such as the Summer Conducting Lab, where students and emerging conductors get real-time rehearsal experience with a trained choir and instruction from master instructors

RA and PVE perform 3-5 concert events each year in addition to events sponsored or produced by other organizations. Our repertoire is selected from cultures all over the world, with special attention directed towards authenticity, performance practice, and language pronunciation. RAP highly values sharing music representative of many different cultures to our singers and audiences. The choirs perform music from a myriad of musical genres and eras as well. We also seek opportunities to serve and collaborate with the community at large, such as preforming with other local choral organizations to present the For Love Benefit Concert, directly supporting Next Door Solutions to Domestic Violence, a critical San Jose nonprofit organization.
