Project Description

With support from the California Arts Council, TeamWorks Art Mentoring Program is uniquely poised to offer visual arts education and culture-affirming activities, with in-depth mural arts experiences as a community-building social practice, with and for system-engaged and system-affected youth in their schools and neighborhoods.

Organization Summary

TeamWorks Art Mentoring Program’s curriculum provides a platform for system-engaged and prioritized youth to express themselves and experience culture-affirming co-creation of personal artworks and public murals. Our program offers arts and culture-affirming collaboration on campus during and after school hours, in community settings, and in our county-operated correctional facility.
