San Jose Choral Project, aka The Choral Project (TCP) is a 42-member auditioned; mixed-voice choral ensemble recognized as one of the premier performing groups in Northern California. Known for artistic excellence and innovation, TCP performs choral works from around the world, including commissions, other new compositions, world, national and regional premieres, and pieces from many centuries and genres. Additionally, they support young composers’ works by sponsoring an annual international student choral composition contest for high school and college undergraduate students. TCP performs the winning composition at one of its concerts during the season.
