With support from the California Arts Council, Korean American Youth Performing Artists will be able to cover the costs of their building expenses due to the limited amount of clients being able to practice and be taught during this time. No on-stage performances are available at this time for students.
This organization performs at various locations in America to showcase and to present Korean culture. KAYPA before COVID-19 performed in various locations around, where ever possible for students to travel without the possibility of missing school days. This non-profit organization performs usually at the Hollywood Christmas Parade, LA events about culture, Brea, Korean shows in Orange County, and many more usually during the latter half of the year. The performances consists of dance with the inclusion of traditional musical instruments for the show. We fully invite anyone to join the organization for different objectives like learning the Korean language, understanding modern and old ways of life in Korea, writing a book for other people to learn, learning the different types of Korean dances, creating connections in the Korean communities, and making experiences through travel and performances. Because of the diverse makeup of ages ranging from children to young adults, we create a schedule that can benefit anyone to attend every class that can interest them.
