Project Description
With support from the California Arts Council, Theatre West will provide public performances at our theatre and/or online, workshops for its members, and arts education programs to Los Angeles youth.
Organization Summary
Theatre West advances its mission by serving its professional members:
1. Ongoing acting, writing, Shakespeare, and musical theatre workshops for critique.
2. Public performances of original work developed within the workshops.
3. Storybook Theatre, a professional Equity season of interactive, non-threatening musicals for children between 3 and 9 years old.
4. In-school arts education programs within Los Angeles public schools and aligned with the VAPA standards.
