With CAC support, artist-in-residence Rich Bougere will conduct 30 weekly three-hour hip-hop workshops and individualized coaching sessions that will enhance the creative, performing, leadership and technical production skills of 25 youth of color ages 13 to 24. The project will culminate in a free 90-minute hip-hop show created, promoted and technically produced by the teenage participants at the African American Art and Culture Complex’s 200-seat theater in May 2021.
