Chinatown CDC recognizes the importance of creating high-quality art experiences as part of a comprehensive neighborhood strategy and has a long history of producing community arts events such as Arts in the Alley and the Chinatown Music Festival and co-managing 41 Ross, a community art space. Our partnerships with arts organizations include work with Asian Improv aRts for Stories in Motion performances funded by the San Francisco Arts Commission’s Artists and Communities in Partnership program and with the Chinese Culture Center for the Alleyways project funded by the NEA Our Town program.
