Project Description
With support from the California Arts Council, The PGK Project’s Director Peter G. Kalivas will attend the Western Arts Alliance Conference August 31 – September 3, 2020 in San Diego, California convening arts presenters with artists around the shared goal of programming live performances. The four-day schedule is filled with exhibits, performances, networking, speakers, classes and workshops that cultivate business insight, professional connections, funding opportunities and strategies.
Organization Summary
The PGK Dance Project, professional contemporary repertory company performing works by a wide variety of diverse choreographers year round. Produces Dance on the EDGE annually presenting up to 25 professional, semi-professional companies of diverse styles for free inside of Mission Federal Credit Union’s ARTWALK. Extensive public engagement with dance outreach, classes, workshops in community spaces including but not limited to: Libraries, community centers, alternative sites, parks.
