With support from the California Arts Council, the MUCKENTHALER will provide Storytelling & Visual Arts programs at 2 dropin centers in partnership w/ GEO Reentry Services. Students will craft their stories & perform to help w/ reunification with family & job interviews, times when lives can be improved w/good communication skills. Students will also learn how to constructively express them selves through visual arts while building their confidence, discipline, & esteem.
The Muckenthaler produces more than 60 performances, gallery exhibits, festivals and special events; and more than 3,500 hours of arts education classes at the Muck and in 25 outreach sites serving more than 41,000 people every year.
