Project Description
With support from the California Arts Council, REDBIRD will host the 18th annual Children of Many Colors Native American Powwow, a cultural ceremony and celebration which embraces all indigenous cultures of the western hemisphere and welcomes the public to enjoy and participate in the weekend’s activities. These include singing, dancing, cultural exhibitions, bird singing, flute circle, Veteran’s Honoring, gourd dance, children’s dances, and special activities for cancer and diabetes awareness.

Forest Recovery Project – ongoing since 2010, documenting the recovery of the Angeles National Forest form the Station Fire of 2009, blending art and science
Pinon Project, restoring piñon trees to the Angeles National Forest
Highway 2 Motorcycle Track Days, motorcycle safety
Chilao Knap-In with Gary Pickett, paleo tools and paleo skills culture and life ways programs
Models in the Mountains Live Model Horse Show and Artist Retreat – annual equine artist event and show
Moto Yoga – monthly donation based yoga
Skid Row Runner’s Club Ultra Run – annual forest running event partnering with SRRC
