California Ballet Company (CBC) annually presents professional ballet productions at the San Diego Civic Theater, Balboa Theatre, and smaller venues throughout San Diego. CBC utilizes the highest quality elements available including professional dancers, musicians, stage crew, costuming and choreography. CBC maintains a professional apprentice scholarship program which provides training & coaching.

CBC provides community access to the arts to a diverse range of organizations and schools. Engagement efforts include the Nutcracker Connect program which provides equal accessible art to underserved communities by tailoring performances to select communities’ special needs. Featured are performances that are Toddler friendly and Military Night.

CBC’s Kids in Step is a series of education and community access programs which suit the needs of both students and educators. In school programs include assemblies with student participation and classroom visits.
