Project Description

With support from the California Arts Council, California LGBT Arts Alliance will continue to provide for staff infrastructure and organizational capacity by increasing the Director’s compensation and time commitment. We will continue to pay our webmaster for the Alliance’s monthly e-newsletter that inform CA’s LGBT arts community about grant deadlines and career development opportunities. The support will strengthen our artistic programming, fundraising and community engagement capacities.

Organization Summary

The California LGBT Arts Alliance organizes touring exhibitions,performances,panels, screenings, and dance/music events that strengthen the members’ artistic visibility.The Alliance works closely with the California Arts Council (CAC) and with other statewide, county and local infrastructure networks to disseminate information about funding issues, artistic opportunities and meetings to LGBTQ+ artists and organizations throughout Southern California.
