Job Title: Content Manager & Publicist,
Category: Full time, annual, non-exempt
Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday, days/evenings variable, minimum 3 days/week on site
Reports to: Marketing Director
The Content Manager & Publicist is responsible for creating and driving NCTC’s social media presence, media and public relations for NCTC, as well as assisting with community outreach and other marketing initiatives. This position develops engaging written, visual, and video content for various platforms, including all online content, creation of playbills, and communication with the press and local community. Weekend and evening availability required.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Experience managing and growing social media channels
• Experience in creating social media campaigns and content
• A strong understanding of platform-specific content, trends, and analytics
• Excellent written and visual communication skills
• Graphic design and video editing experience (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, etc.)
• Familiarity with press relations
• Familiarity with Bay Area arts scene and array of communities

Annual salary range $51,000-54,000 DOE
