The 2024 Evolving Program Institute (EPI24) is designed to help you thoughtfully create and sustain inclusive, just, joyful, and accessible artist residencies.

This three-day, hybrid intensive includes expert-led workshops, artist presentations, panel discussions, interactive activities and networking opportunities. Learn strategies, gain tools, and develop networks to strengthen all elements of your residency program utilizing Artist Communities Alliance’s Five Pillars of Healthy Residency Framework: Identity, Program Design, Operations, Resource Development, and Stewardship.

EPI24 workshops help participants to:

• Activate tangible resources to develop, launch, and expand their residency program
• Learn artist-centered practices for building effective programs,
• Use inclusive, practical frameworks to identify and understand barriers
• Connect with colleagues across the field;
• Leave with actionable next steps to accomplish organizational goals.

For the first time ever, EPI is bicoastal + hybrid!
To meet the changing needs of our members and the field at large, our Emerging Program Institute is becoming the Evolving Program Institute, supporting emerging and established residency programs. After almost five years of connecting primarily on screen, we are back in-person – and online. As part of the 2024 EPI, ACA will host in-person events in:

• New Jersey: Art House Productions
• Or join us Virtually from anywhere in the world!
