For over 35 years SVCreates has invested in and empowered the Santa Clara County arts ecosystem and worked to build community through arts and creativity. We serve as the state and local partner with the CAC for our county. Our new Community Engagement Manager will manage and execute programs & projects that advance SVCreates mission, specifically focusing on partnerships, collaborations, advocacy, and research. The position works closely with the CEO on advocacy, research and special initiatives, and closely with our small, but mighty, program and communications teams on projects that serve local artists and arts groups and that help build a framework for sustained support for our local arts ecosystem. The work is done in the context of our program goals and to advance our strategic priorities. Position requires strong written and oral communications skills, strong project management and organizational skills, and demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Position is full-time with in-person requirements at San Jose office and at events across Santa Clara County.
