Position Summary

The Conrad Prebys Performing Arts Center is a new facility located in La Jolla, CA. It consists of a 480-seat concert hall, a 2000 sf flexible performance space, meeting rooms, and outdoor event spaces.

This part-time position reports to the Technical Director. The Tech Coordinators’ primary role is to ensure the equipment in the theatre is functional, maintained, and safe. As well, as provide customer service for all clientele who perform in the venue.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Act as primary point of contact on the day of events in The Conrad Prebys Performing Arts Center
• Write end-of-event reports.
• Manage IA Staff brought in for each event.
• Assist in maintaining and updating venue inventory.
• Set furniture and staging all events on the premises.
• Set and run smaller events such as lectures and presentations.
• Maintain standard house plots for fixtures and equipment
• Maintain safety protocols for staff and crew working on stage or around technical equipment.
• Other duties as assigned
