The Public Art Committee is seeking a Consultant or Consultant Team to assist in the Committee in creating a Request for Proposal which will result in an artist, artists, or artist teams which will create and install an art piece or art elements in the designated location. The chosen consultant or consultant team will also assist the Committee with the selection of the artist(s), and work with the artist throughout the installation process. The Committee wants a process that is open and seeks community feedback for selection of the art work/elements.

Proposals are due August 31, 2022

City anticipates interviewing finalists between October 3, 2022 and October 14, 2022

Council selection is anticipated to be made on November 3, 2022

The City has budgeted $200,000 for the entire cost of the project including the cost of the consultant’s time, artist, and installation of the art work.
