Accounting Officer (Specialist)

Description

The California Arts Council is seeking an Accounting Officer (Accounting Officer Specialist) to join our Operations team. Under the direct supervision of the Staff Services Manager I (SSMI) in the Operations Unit, the Accounting Officer (Specialist) performs professional accounting work of average difficulty often utilizing the Financial Information System for California (FI$Cal), the Grant Management System (GMS) and serves as liaison to Contracted Fiscal Services (CFS) that performs accounting functions for the California Arts Council (CAC).

Statement of Qualifications:
A Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) is required. The SOQ is a narrative discussion of how a candidate’s education, training, experience and skills qualify that candidate for the position. The SOQ must be typed and not more than one page in length, using 12 point Arial font, and respond to the following question:
