Front of House Manager

NCTC is currently hiring a Front of House/Concessions Manager. This position is annual, full time, and reports to the Director of Marketing and Communications

This position is responsible for the comfort, safety and enjoyment of NCTC patrons and students through management of all aspects of front of house and concessions. This position also partners with the Marketing team to create and implement events and activities that engage and expand our community. This position requires availability on evenings and weekends. This position requires great people skills, superior customer service skills, and capable leadership, communication (verbal and written) and computer skills.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
● Manage Front of House for all performances, and be the point person for audience related questions, concerns and emergencies
● Oversee NCTC’s volunteer usher program, including recruitment, training, and scheduling
● Manage Bar and Concessions including inventory and staffing: hiring, training and supervising bartenders
● Assist Marketing team in researching organizations for outreach purposes and update outreach contact lists with correct contact information. Contact organizations selected by Marketing Director with partnership opportunities or event invitations

Front of House Manager required to:
● Have completed COVID-19 vaccinations and wear a face covering while in the lobby or theatre
● Provide customer service at the very highest standard
● Enjoy working with a wide variety of people of all ages and backgrounds
● Demonstrate strong leadership and management abilities
● Possess maturity, drive, and professionalism.
● Fully support the mission and values of NCTC

Other preferred skills include
● Experience with Microsoft office suite, social media and database management.
● Experience with Salesforce and or Patron Manager a plus.
● CPR and other safety/emergency training
