Cultural Arts Division Manager

Your next exciting career opportunity awaits you!  The City of Tracy City Manager’s office is currently seeking a motivated and qualified individual to join their team. The ideal candidate for this position must be an effective and independent manager with a strong knowledge of administrative principles and practices.  Under the direction of management staff, the successful candidate would plan, manage and oversee the daily functions, operations, and activities of the Cultural Arts Division, including the operations and staff of the Grand Theatre Center for the Arts.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in visual arts, fine arts, art history, arts administration, theater arts, or related field and five (5) years of increasingly responsible experience in managing and developing arts and cultural programs, theater production, or in a related field.

Ø  Possession of, or the ability to obtain, a valid Class C California driver’s license upon appointment.

Ø  May be required to complete National Incident Management System (NIMS) Training.
