The Asian American Arts Zine is looking for submissions for Volume 4, to be released March 2021. Anyone who identifies as Asian may submit artwork, photography, and any type of writing.

Submissions should be an artist or writer’s attempt at answering: what does being Asian in the arts mean? The requirements are broad and up to every individual’s interpretation.

We are looking for ARTWORK, PHOTOGRAPHY, WRITING, and POETRY about:
– food from your culture, cuisine
– identity
– lunar new year traditions or food
– stories or work about new beginnings, change, springtime
– photography of any type

All submissions are due February 14th. For multiple submissions, simply fill out the form again. Submissions will be reviewed by a team of six Asians in the Arts staff members on a rolling basis. Any questions can be emailed to Zine Staff Misha Patel mishadeepatel@gmail.com.

This zine seeks to uplift any voices that have been historically silenced.
