3rd Annual Still Life Art Competition
Fusion Art invites submissions for its 21st Quarterly Art Competition – the 3rd Annual Still Life.
For this art competition, 2D and 3D artists, worldwide, are encouraged to submit their best work depicting an arrangement of everyday inanimate objects. The subjects of the art can range from a single object to a complex arrangement of objects. The work can range from realism to surrealism to abstraction and all artists, regardless of location or experience, are encouraged to submit their best representational or abstract art and photography.
A three-month group online exhibition will be featured on the Fusion Art website starting June 15, 2022.
Best in Show and 2nd through 5th Place awards will be given. Best in Show winners will be invited to Fusion Art’s Annual Group Show in Santa Fe, New Mexico in 2023. Best in Show winners will also receive a complimentary one-year Fusion Art Featured Artist Membership as part of their award package, as long as they meet the eligibility listed in the application rules HERE.
Winners and finalists are provided with extensive worldwide publicity and promotion.

12th Annual “Animals” Online Art Competition
Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery announces an art call for the gallery’s 12th Annual “Animals” Online Juried Art Competition for the month of May 2022. The gallery invites all 2D and 3D artists (including photography and digital arts) from around the world to make online submissions for possible inclusion in the Gallery’s June 2022 online group art exhibition.
The gallery encourages entries from artists (including photography & digital arts) regardless of where they reside to apply to this competition by submitting their best abstract or representational art.
The “Animals” theme will be the artist’s interpretation and depiction of animal art. Animal subjects include any living organisms, mammals, birds, insects and any animals that may also live in water.

Fusion Art invites submissions for the 7th Annual Cityscapes art competition for an online exhibition during the month of June 2022.
For this competition, both 2D and 3D artists, worldwide, are invited to submit their best art depicting cityscapes. The theme includes any art which depict cities, towns, urban scenes and/or any related metropolitan subjects.

Abstracts Art Competition
Fusion Art, in collaboration with Julianna Poldi Art, invites submissions for a regional Abstract Art Competition open to artists in the Southwestern United States.
For this competition, both 2D and 3D artists, located in California, Nevada and Arizona only, are invited to submit their best nonobjective or nonrepresentational art. All artists, regardless of experience, are encouraged to submit their best work.
10 Artists will be selected for participation in a group exhibition at Golden Pine Gallery in Idyllwild, California. Winning Artists will also receive a choice of either a 30 min Zoom art coaching session with Julianna Poldi or the Abstract Painter’s Guide. Additional coaching and mentorship opportunities with Julianna are available upon request.
A simultaneous online exhibition will be held on the Fusion Art website.

Call for Artists-Highway 25 Sculpture Project, Hollister, CA
The San Benito County Arts Council seeks California-based artists or artist teams to submit their qualifications to create and install a site-specific outdoor sculpture at the corner of Santa Ana Rd. and Highway 25 in Hollister, California. This project is part of a State Highway Beautification Project, sponsored by the California Department of Transportation and the Clean California Program.
The San Benito County Arts Council, together with Caltrans and the City of Hollister, is administering a Call for Artists and/or Artist Teams to submit their qualifications to create and install a site-specific outdoor sculpture at the corner of Santa Ana Rd and Highway 25. The sculptural piece will be installed at the “start” of this particular Highway 25 corridor between Santa Ana and Sunnyslope Rd, and shall include aesthetic elements that reflect and enhance community identity, as well as integrate with the overall goal of this Caltrans project to beautify the route and encourage pedestrian and bicycle usage for local residents and visitors.
The total budget for this project is $130,000 and is funded through Clean California. Total budget includes all design, materials, fabrication, delivery, installation, assistants, insurance, Caltrans coordination, and travel. Applicants must be based in California with special consideration for artists residing in San Benito, Monterey, Santa Cruz and Santa Clara counties.
