Teen participants develop, shoot and edit their own short movies which are screened during a DITR film award event. | DITR has summer and after-school workshops geared towards educating and preparing youth for rewarding Arts careers in the Film making and Entertainment industries. You’re Not Listening~ To What I Have to SAY! provides an opportunity for foster care young girls, ages 15-18 years old, to explore storytelling through digital media. Participants voice their personal issues and independently come up with a solution through film making. Youth receive hands-on instruction from pre-production through post-production, to hone each individual’s creative talents.
