Youth Spirit Artworks (YSA) is an interfaith arts training program committed to empowering low-income and homeless youth, ages 15-25, with job skills, and to transforming lives using multimedia art forms for self expression and personal growth.

Youth Spirit’s broad goals are to: 1) teach vocational skills related to commercial arts and entrepreneurship; 2) provide youth with an income from jobs training and sales of art; 3) support youth reaching their personal and professional life goals; 4) help youth learn to budget and manage their money; 5) build self-confidence and promote experiences of personal transformation; 6) model for youth experiences of healthy family and community relationship; 7) build and promote youth commitment to personal health and wholeness, including a commitment to nonviolence; 8) teach youth about their power and ability to change the world.
