Project Description
With support from the California Arts Council, WHITE ASH BROADCASTING INC will present Young Artists Spotlight, a radio and multimedia series of live performances by student musicians from the San Joaquin Valley. The 12 episodes will feature students from elementary school through college performing classical, jazz, traditional and other genres. The half-hour-long programs will air on FM89, stream live on KVPR.org and will be featured in online videos, and the CMAC cable channel.
Organization Summary
Valley Public Radio provides news and music programming and digital content for listeners in Fresno, Kern, Tulare, Kings, Madera, Mariposa and Merced Counties. Programming includes NPR and local news and classical music, as well as diverse cultural programming on FM 89.1 (Bakersfield) FM 89.3 (Fresno), KVPR.org, the KVPR mobile app, and other connected devices and smart speakers.
