The mission of Crowden Music Center is to combine music and education to nurture, develop, and inspire students of all ages, and to provide essential support to the musical life of the community. The organization was founded by violinist and educator Anne Crowden in 1983. Anne’s idea was to create a middle school where young students of strings and piano could combine an intellectually engaging academic curriculum with a distinguished daily music program. Today, Crowden Music Center has a history of providing world-class music training, outreach, and performances for the community.
