The mission of Steven Liang Productions is to dignify, humanize, and de-stigmatize the Asian American reentry community through the practice of filmmaking, storytelling, theater, and the healing arts. Grounded in the Ethnic Studies framework of reciprocity and lived experience and the transformative justice practice of the Theatre of the Oppressed, Steven Liang Productions builds community while increasing three-dimensional media representation and fostering narrative plurality.
