Project Description
With support from the California Arts Council, Spindrift School of Performing Arts Inc. will continue to provide two free Performing Arts Workshops (PAW) to ~60 students per year, 1st – 5th grade, at Sunset Ridge Elementary (SRE) in Pacifica, a Title I school, where 40% of students are economically disadvantaged.
Organization Summary
SSPA was founded in 1994 by Pacifica residents, Martha & Alexander Bootzin to train
and inspire students of all ages in the performing arts. Since that time, SSPA has grown
into a vibrant arts organization with a focus on access to performing arts for all. SSPA
provides high quality group classes, private lessons, camps, school residencies, and
family productions. We serve over 3000 students each year.
