Sierra Classic Theatre has been performing quality community theater in Mammoth Lakes, CA for 21 years. Our free outdoor summer “Shakespeare in the Woods” celebrated its 10th year summer this past summer. Our Murder Mystery Dinner Theater fundraiser, which performs in the fall at various local restaurants, is celebrating its 21st season. Our spring show, typically a classic or contemporary Pulitzer-prize winning play, is on its 7th consecutive season. Our Children’s Theater program is celebrating its 8th season. For our Murder mystery fundraiser we hire a local writer and perform at restaurants during the off season. Thanks to CAC’s grant from last year we have been able to expand our children’s program to include a playwriting class and a performed play with Children in Elementary School, Middle School and High school.
