Project Description
With the support of the CA Arts Council Self Help Graphics & Art respectfully requests funding for general operating support to sustain artistic and cultural programs and continue providing our vulnerable communities of youth and artists in Boyle Heights and East LA with uplifting virtual workshops and activities.
Organization Summary
Self Help Graphics serves 30,000 community members and upwards of 100 artists annually through our programming. That includes:
-Our curatorial offerings: Our Exhibitions and Archive, the Professional Printmaking Program, the Barrio Mobile Art Studio, and the Beyond the Press Artist Residency program
– Free and low-cost arts education programming for youth, families and individuals
– Free community arts programs such as our Dia de los Muertos programming and Wellness Wednesdays
