The Santa Rosa Symphony’s mission is to inspire and engage the residents of our region with the finest musical performances and educational programs through its core values of organizational strength, innovative programming, fiscal responsibility and community service.
Since 1928, the Santa Rosa Symphony has helped musical arts thrive in Sonoma County, presenting high-quality, engaging performances to our diverse community. Now entering our 95th season — and 11th year as resident orchestra of the world-class Green Music Center at Sonoma State University — the Santa Rosa Symphony is the largest regional symphony in California north of Los Angeles, reaching 65,000 to 75,000 people a year.
For more than 70 years, the Symphony has offered music education opportunities that many Sonoma County schools and communities can no longer support. Increasingly, we are directing our educational outreach towards transformative social change, creating equitable access to music education.
