The mission of San Francisco Opera Guild is to give voice to potential, extending the impact of opera by bringing it into the life of the community. Our purpose is twofold—we provide a comprehensive range of education programming for students and adults, helping to identify and nurture artistic talent and life skills through opera and its component arts, and we support San Francisco Opera through fundraising events and volunteer coordination. On both fronts, we aim to make opera accessible and show how the enduring power of words and music can become a catalyst for greater self-expression, a healthy community, and emotional transformation.
